Toshiba REGZA 52RV530U 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV Review

I bought a Samsung 40 "is replaced by the ERS I play poker () long story. I'm bigger than 40 and it started at a good price of Christmas eve, so most of my comparisons Samsung replaced. Good: Bigger is better, much deeper and richer blacks, it does not, speed, etc. football and better viewing angle for a better anti-glare, auto-scan channels blur takes a lot more channels and faster, automatic channel scan automatically tunes and cable digital and analog TV broadcastsand closed with 1 sweep, deeper and more detailed menus and options. Many manual adjustments pic size, 4 HDMI inputs, remote passthru
Bathroom (or not so good): colors are so bright and sharp. Colors are not "real", ie, skin color, etc. with an average sound system SRS WOW, equalizer, and an extension (using a HELLO end sound system for movies in general) clutery bit distant and not friendly and not good enough deep in the menus and the manual clutery and somewhat hostile, solid stateswival no, only 1 cable / antenna input, so it is not possible to have a link cable (HDTV) antenna, 1 side input port, but not the front port. Many manual adjustments and image size, but Samsung had set for most car and has very good .. (Who wants to go through a lot of things on the menu when the DVD in the widescreen dvd regulaor) "game mode", but it really sucks compared to Samsung.
Overall I'm happy and satisfied with your purchase. ImageCompared to my old Samsung is a wash. Toshiba blacks better, better colors on Samsung, Toshiba, but not to blur. Reports on the same, but Toshiba has more manual adj Samsung and more automatic. Finally, this TV looks good, but it was the best in business. Entrepreneurship is about 40 TV channels and all the same photos where 120Hz better, but usually some Samsung and Sony, which pictures a little better. All other cheaper or "off" brands like LG etc VIZIO clear that manypic worse. I bought it because the picture was certainly good very good and the price was really $ 1100 + VAT.

Good Picture / bad service – E. Winfrey – Nashville TN USA
I have 52RV530U in September 2008 and had no problems until July this year. Fortunately it was under warranty, but I waited more than a month to spare screen.
While reading the various reviews on line Regza LCD sets, it seems, many problems associated with the screen, or occur when the guarantee expires. I was very satisfied with the performance of the file, and the problem seemed to appear overnight. I plannedRequest for a refund, but now I'm having second thoughts. I wonder whether the recent XV and ZV series are no longer reliable. I would like to know how many people have problems with the screen.

Quality Sucks – Xi Zhang – Indianapolis, IN USA
My Toshiba LCD TV broke after only 18 months. Poor quality. Never buy Toshiba again!

powers off twice a day – Randy Smith – Oklahoma City, OK USA
After the purchase and the creation of this series, the power on a daily basis from twice to the same period. I am sure that the timer and game timer are also set to zero, but it happens. Such a shame, because the picture quality is much better than the other files in the showroom. This is the 2nd Toshiba TV, I had to go wrong, so I probably will not buy this brand again. My other LCD TV Emerson is and has been absolutely no problems at all. Toshiba is back and I have a different brand.

Toshiba TALEN 65HM167 65-Inch 1080p DLP HDTV – EOL August 2007 Review

My Sony Wega 50 "Lay Dying (kind of a mirror causes problems blue stripes in the picture. Apparently very common in this model, but I did not have much response from Sony for post-warranty repairs and to hear what their nearly $ 1,000 per patch). It was I have 2 years + in my second lamp ($ 400). So I had eyes on the larger HD-TV for several months. I do not need PIP (comes with Bright House DVR) and dont really care about sound, I pipe cable / DVD audio to my receiver. Iwas just hired to find a big, bright 1080p. I saw this model in the circuit this week, City Flyer (January 27, 2008) for $ 1399!. I have a tape measure to ensure that it fits in my built-in media and went to CC to check it out. With standard HD inputs (probably 1080i). This sentence seemed the best picture of all the units of the projection on the wall (with the exception Mitubisi 75 "unit, said the dealer playing 1080p HD-DVD). I count it and my tvI think that fits into the media room with about 1 cm to spare on all sides. We invited them to my car and took him home. After 20 minutes I blew himself up (well, I almost had to go buy a HDMI cable for $ 35). I have only 1 day, but amazing and is a big difference from my 50 "Sony. My viewing distance is probably longer than most (about 15" on the couch)

Need in any case, if you rely on finding a decent DLP with a big picture and do a lot of unnecessary bells andPipeline to get to CC and check this one out.
For $ 1600 I would probably rise Look around a bit more, but for $ 1399 this set my price trigger, and I am very happy with it.

Best 1080P for the price – Lynn – Houston, TX
I bought an HDTV in August 2007, after waiting for HDTV purchases about 2 and a half, especially on prices and the right to 1080p model instead of the current 720p models. Has 5 months and I have no problems, like a lamp was not yet, but I am incandescent lamp with low power consumption, and it does not turn out a lot. The display is gorgeous 1080p via HDMI cable, I have it verified oneInspire 1080p (6.6 ft) 2M HDMI PS3 Cable 1.3b. Screen size is just right sizeA tracking football and PS3 games and Blu-ray movies. The HDMI inputs on this set is 1.3, although not always mentioned in the description. I am happy with my Toshiba.

Nice Picture on this 65″ Set – E. Rury – Alabama
First let me say I am a Toshiba fan. I have 3 other Toshiba tube units, one 15 years old and still running.

So far so good very good picture and a pleasure to watch. I bought mine late November 2007 and added a HD Sat Receiver mid December. To really appreciate this set you must have a HD receiver pushing HD. If you are not watching HD then you are stretching your standard def picture to 65″.

This unit has 3 HDMI inputs that makes playing XBox 360 and Playstation 3 a experience a very easy switching HDMI sources for further expansion.

Well, when I found myself in trouble in this series of lamp light was perfect.

Absolutely phenomenal!!! – eternalodyssey – St. Louis, MO
Television is absolutely phenomenal! Clarity is amazing and is very easy to set up a navigation menu. I recommend buying generic HDMI cable, as I saw no significant difference between the so-called "high quality" and the general. PS3 and my HD-DVD players look good. Playing Nintendo Wii is an experience all his own. The file has a whole range of options for connecting any device, you can with the exception of S-video, but honestly believe who everusing S-Video? Can not Get Enough praise great things about this record. You will not be disappointed.
